The Road Scholars are a group of educators who want to raise awareness about Melanoma.
Raising awareness is very important to all the educators, however, extremely important and personal for Melissa Megias. Melissa is a stage 4 melanoma survivor. She has undergone immunotherapy treatment and recently a lobectomy. Throughout her treatment, she found running as her escape. Melissa always felt free when she ran. Being cancer free, she wants to be able to help others suffering now. Melissa is committed to educating others and raising awareness about the seriousness of Melanoma.
