Lisa Zito
My name is Lisa Zito. I am a wife and mom of 2 beautiful children. I have always been aware of skin cancer and always went to the dermatologist for body checks. I was diagnosed with Melanoma on my leg in November of 2011, after a routine appointment at the dermatologist, I received a phone call that one of my biopsies was Melanoma. Luckily, it was diagnosed as Stage 1. I was able to have a successful surgery to remove it.
I am now celebrating 6 years of being cancer free with my 2 beautiful children, husband, family and friends. I have participated in the CCMAC Miles for Melanoma before and look forward to celebrating with fellow survivors, honoring those that have lost their battle, and supporting those who are currently fighting as well as raising awareness. I live each day to the fullest and with Faith, Hope, Love, and Strength.

Purpose: I have created this team in honor of all my fellow survivors of Melanoma and those that are still fighting. I want to thank my friends and family for always being supportive and reminding me to be strong and have faith.
