The 6th annual Don’t Fry Day is just around the corner – Friday, May 23rd.

The National Council on Skin Care Prevention designated the Friday before Memorial Day as “Don’t Fry Day” to raise awareness of skin cancer prevention and to encourage everyone throughout the United States to protect their skin while enjoying the outdoors.  The goals of the campaign are: to generate national skin cancer prevention awareness at the start of the summer and throughout the year; and to provide the public with sun safety tools and resources they can use and adapt for their needs.

On “DON’T FRY DAY”, Friday May 23rd, 2014, CCMAC is partnering with North Shore Long Island Jewish Health System and COHEN’s CHILDREN’s MEDICAL CENTER to raise awareness regarding the dangers of unprotected sun exposure. The event will focus on educating our youth and adults, as long as they are accompanied by a little person. There will be give aways and fun for all.
